For example, if you suggest a certain candidate for charitable aid, since this charity deals only with aiding cancer sufferers located in the Douglas, Arizona area, suggesting a patient for charitable aid logically implies that you have good reason to believe that patient is suffering from cancer. We try to operate with a maximum of discretion and replace the utmost value on patient privacy. To a certain degree we operate on a level of trust that persons who request aid on behalf of others are truthful in their statements that such a person is suffering from cancer. Since our charitable aid is almost always anonymous, unless requested directly by a patient, we feel that the dignity and autonomy of the patient has been preserved by virtue of the preservation of their privacy. However, we do not treat a recommendation for aid as a confirmation of a diagnosis or verified fact, but as an honest belief. Furthermore, we will not disclose allegations regarding an individual's health to any third party, without that patient's express consent.

We offer donors the ability to make a donation in someone else's name, and in such cases we asked for that other parties contact information, so that we may send them notification of the donation and inform them of their ability to participate in events such as the Thanksgiving morning walks and races. Information provided to us in such cases is only used for that purpose and is only disclosed to the person in whose name the donation has been made.
We use return e-mail addresses to answer the e-mail we receive. We may collect such addresses to send occasional notices regarding future events, or other opportunities to submit donations. Such addresses are not shared with outside parties. Donors can at any time request not to be contacted by our organization.
We may offer the possibility of registering with our website if donors would like to receive updates on upcoming events or any kind of charity related news. Information you submit on our website for the purpose of registration will not be shared by third parties.
We may utilize such technology that may allow us to aggregate user information, such as visit counts, average browsing time, broad geographical information, in order to better design our website and track user trends. We do not collect identifying information.
